AP LPCET 2025 Notification

AP LPCET 2025


This is the state level examination conducted every year in the month of March.

This exam is conducted for the admission in the language pandit training courses.

Different colleges in Andhra Pradesh will offer Language Pandit Training courses, and if candidate get qualified in the LPCET Exam then they are eligible to this courses

The mode of the exam will be conducted online.


Eligibility Criteria


Nationality : The candidate who are applying must be an Indian Residence, and should be from Andhra Pradesh state.

Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum of 19 years of age and there is no maximum age to write the exam.

Qualification: Candidate should pass Bachelor degree in any language or equivalent course from any recognized institution.

Marks criteria: the minimum marks, which the candidate should secure 35 percent in qualifying exam.

Subjects: The candidates must study any language course.

The students who are appearing for the Degree final exams are also eligible for this exam.

Telugu Pandit
Candidate who passed any of the following degrees are eligible for the admission in Telugu Pandit course
• B.A Telugu literature
• B.A Orietal Language in Telugu
• B.O.L in Telugu
• Can do any bachelor degree with Telugu as one of the optional subject in their degree
• M.A in Telgu



Hindi Pandit
Candidate who passed any of the following degrees are eligible for the admission in Hindi Pandit course.
• B.O.L in Hindi.
• Can do any bachelor degree with Hindi as one of the optional subject in their degree.
• Vidvan of Hindi Prachar Sabhah.
• Praveena of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha.
• B.A Hindi or any equivalent degree.
• M.A in Hindi.





AP LPCET 2025 Application Fees:


Fees should be paid through online, by using Credit card, debit card, internet banking or UPI payments.

The application  is not refundable.

For all categories ₹400 

Payment will not be accepted through offline mode of payment.

AP LPCET 2025 Exam Pattern


Mode of Exam: Online method.

Type of questions: Multiple choice questions or Objective questions.

Medium of question paper: English.

Total Marks: 100 marks.

Total Questions: 110 questions.

Time duration: 120 minutes.

  • For Telugu 1st language syllabus of classes 8th to 10th under Andhra Pradesh.


Part-IV:

Literature
  • Candidate can choose the degree level.

Frequently Asked Questions



Telangana students who have an Andhra Pradesh local status certificate are eligible to appear for APLPCET Exam, and these candidates are also eligible for admission under state quota.

Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh can see admission under 85% state quota seats. For government colleges, 100% of seats are reserved for Andhra Pradesh residnce candidates.

Only the candidates who have studied in Andhra Pradesh for a consecutive period of 7 years are treated as local candidates. Candidates from Telangana can also appear for the entrance exam. However, he/ she will have to see admission through management quota or private colleges.

The mode of APLPCET examination is online and the candidates will have to mark the answers on the computer screen.

Candidates should be a citizen of India and should only have graduated from the required subject, such as MA (Hindi), BA (Urdu Literature), BA (Oriental Language – Urdu), BA (Telugu Literature) etc.

The fee for general category candidates is ₹400.
