Intermediate


The Course duration is Two Years or 2 Years.

Students can go to IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) or NIT (National Institute of Technology) by writing the JEE mains and advance examinations.


Students get admission in private or government colleges by writing EAMCET or EPACET, this examination will be conducted by the  government.


Students can purse B.Pharm, MBBS, CA, Bachelor Degrees etc. of any specialization.


If we see the subjects and laboratories in intermediate, there are

6 or Six Subjects
2 or 3 Laboratories


Here final exams will be conducted in two tiers that is the public examination will be conducted at last of the year i.e. for Inter first year and in Inter second year.


Here in Intermediate the total marks will be for 1000 marks or Thousand Marks.


The job opportunities after the completion of intermediate will be very less and can also do jobs.


After completion of Intermediate students can do any bachelor degree like B.A, BSc, B.Tech, B.Com Etc.


The duration of Inter (2 Years) + B.Tech (4 Years), the total is 6 Years.


In Intermediate students can study in both English medium and Telugu medium.


For Below average students it is better choice to join intermediate after completion of 10th or SSC.

Diploma or Polytechnic


The Course duration is Three Years or 3 Years.


Students can not go direct lateral entry to IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) or NIT (National Institute of Technology) if they want to go then they need to write JEE mains or advance and then they need to study first year then only they will get seat in IIT or NIT. 

Maximum students who completed diploma will not go to IIT or NIT, they will join in universities or private institutions and there is a option of lateral entry from that they will get admission in 2nd year of Engineering.


Students get admission in private or government colleges by writing ECET, this examination will be conducted by the  government.


After completion of Diploma or Polytechnic students can purse B.Tech or any equivalent degree.

If we see the subjects and laboratories in Diploma or Intermediate, there are

22 or Twenty Two Subjects
17 Laboratories
Six or 6 Months Industrial Training Program

Here final exams will be conducted in semester wise and here a total of six semester will be there, and here the duration of course is three or 3 Years, that is per year tow or 2 semester. I Semester, II Semester, III Semester, IV Semester,  V Semester, VI Semester.


Here in Diploma or Polytechnic the total marks will be for 4000 marks (According to the C16 regulation, if in case C13 regulation then the total marks will be 5000 marks).


The job opportunities after the completion of Diploma is very high and can also get private and government sector jobs.


After completion of Diploma students can do any bachelor degree like  B.Tech, or any equivalent degree.


The duration of Diploma (3 Years) + B.Tech (3 Years), the total is 6 Years.


In Diploma or Polytechnic students can study in English medium.


For average or merit students it is better choice to join diploma after completion of 10th or SSC, if they are interested to join only in Engineering.
