The beginning of the month of August 2024 is predicted for the beginning of AP PGECET counseling registration at pgecet-sche.aptonline.in. Candidates will be able to take part in the AP PGECET counseling procedure in 2024 in order of their rating. 


To exercise web options entry, candidates must first register online, pay the counseling charge, and have their documentation checked. 


Candidates that are chosen must report to the designated college according to the schedule.

Detailed Information of AP PGECET Counselling Process






Candidate Registration

Candidates who plan to participate in the AP PGECET counseling 2024 must first register in official counselling website.

Candidates need to select the "Candidate Registration" tab. The following information will be required from the candidates:

  • PGECET hall ticket number
  • Date of birth 
  • Click on submit

Along with other information, the candidate's mail ID and mobile number will be displayed on the screen. All of the certificates will be verified by the system. Candidates must only upload documents in the JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats if necessary.

While filling the registration form, candidates are required to enter the following details:

Personal details, Special categories, Degree or Equivalent, Educational details, AP PGECET 2024, Verify

Note: Details once submitted cannot be changed



Fee Payment

Candidates will be able to choose any of the payment methods:

  • Net Banking
  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card

Candidates must now enter the payment details. If payment is successful an acknowledgement will be displayed on the screen with the details like Payment Reference Id, Amount, Payment Date etc.

Print the Application Form

After successfully submitting the application form of APICET counselling and payment of the application fee, candidates must take the print of the application form for future reference.



Certificate Verification

All of the shortlisted candidates must go through the document verification process at the support centers or online verification as part of the counseling process.

Only special category candidates should visit helpline centers to complete their document verification process.

  • Latest valid Income Certificate or Ration Card issued by the competent authority containing the name of the candidate
  • Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority in respect to SC/ST/BC
  • Economically weaker section(EWS)certificate if applicable
  • Local status certificate if applicable i.e., a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana within a period of Seven years from the 2nd day of June, 2014 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Documents Required for Special (PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority) Category Candidates

  • Candidates whose parents have a domicile in Andhra Pradesh (AP) are only eligible for the "CAP" category

  • In the case of Ex-Servicemen, then they need to produce IS card and service discharge will be required for verification purposes
Physically Handicapped
  • Candidates with 40% and above disability are considered eligible
  • A disability certificate should be issued by the District Medical Board
Anglo Indian Candidates Such candidates have to provide a certificate that was issued by the appropriate authority.
Minority Candidates Candidates who fall under this "Minority category" have to provide SSC 'TC' containing Minority status or certificate which is issued by the headmaster



Certificate Re-uploading

When submitting for the counseling procedure, candidates have the option to reupload or modify any information they previously entered during the AP PGECET application process. The Verification Officer's supervision is required for this. The following key instructions for re-uploading papers or material are available to candidates:

The Verification Officer login window will have the following major features: 

  • Can view uploaded documents
  • Can ask to re-upload the documents
  • Can Approve or Reject the documents uploaded

If the re-upload or reject option is chosen, officers have to provide their remarks to be displayed in the candidate login. Additionally, they must give their permission to allow the candidate login to upload certificates only once.

Since they won't be able to re-upload documents or modify any information beyond this stage, candidates must make sure they rectify all mistakes and re-upload documents

The verification officer is additionally restricted from asking for a second upload of the certificate. Therefore, it is crucial that candidates double-check all the necessary documents and information before submitting it.

If the certificates and documents are not accepted by verification officer, they are not required to be upload again.

Web Option Entry

Below are the steps for option entry through online:

Step 1: Open AP PGECET 2024 counselling website

https://pgecet-sche.aptonline.in/ICET/

After opening the above provided web address, candidates will be landed on home page which will contain the links regarding the information such as a list of courses, AP PGECET counselling 2024 procedure, list of helpline centers, college profiles, etc.


Step 2: Option Entry

After successful opening of the official counselling website of appgecet, now here you need to click on web options button and need to provide the credentials

  • APPGECET counselling hall ticket number 
  • Date of birth 

Candidates will be able to select the following:

  • District
  • College type to display the colleges

Now the screen will display Government colleges, Self-financed colleges, Private colleges with different colors. 

Candidates will be able to see the list of selected colleges on the right side of the screen and total opted counts .

Here candidate will verify the list and click on "Save", "Save and Print" and "Freeze Options" button.

Note: Don't click on freeze options buttons, once you click on it, candidates can't edit those web option selections and those selected option will be freeze.


Once you save the web options, print the selected options list and keep it safe for future reference.



Seat Allotment

The last step will be the seat allotment process. 

The exam authorities will allocate the seats to the candidates based on the merit, availability of seats, and preferred filled choices, category, local area etc. 

Candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter and report through a self-reporting system.

 They will also have to report at the allotted colleges/institutes failing which will lead to cancellation of seats.



Provisional Allotment Order

Once the entire allocation process is completed the candidate will be allowed to download the provisional allotment orders from the website.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to "self-report to the college online" after receiving the provisional allotment notice in order to report to the designated colleges. The letter of allocation is available for download on the official website.



AP PGECET Seat Cancellation Process

Candidates must approach the Convener in person or by registered mail and must present a couple of the documents given below within a specified deadline, if they wish to withdraw or cancel the seat that has been assigned to them at the final stage of the AP PGECET 2024 counseling process:

  • Request letter for the candidate's allotted seat to be cancelled.
  • Payment of fees received.
  • a properly filled-out application for the cancellation of reserved seats.
  • Original receipts for the certificates that were issued when they were verified at the helpline center/Online verification.
