From APPSC the important posts like Gazette and non gazette posts will be released and this examination will be conducted once in a year, and different categories o candies are eligible for this examination, and this examination will be conducted by Andhra Pradesh education department.

This is recruitment examination and in there are two stages one is "Preliminary" and second one is "Mains".

Eligibility criteria


1) The applying person should be a citizen of India.

2) The applying person should qualify any degree from a recognized university

3) Age restrictions are there as per category wise which is given as follows

For SC/ST & BC: 5 years

For Ex-Service men : 3 years

A.P State Government Employees: 5 years

For N.C.C: 3 years

For physically handicapped: 10 years

The candidates who will clear the Mains exam are called for an interview with the APPSC board. Basically, candidates are called in the ratio of 2:1 with respect to the number of the vacancies.


Important points for APPSC Examination


Minimum Qualifying marks for English and Telugu 

  • For OC category it is 40 percent
  • For BC category it is 35 percent
  • For SC-ST-PH it is 30 percent



This examination will be conducted on ("Group-1, Group-2, Group-3, Group-4) groups.



APPSC Application Form Filling


To fill the online application form for the APPSC Group 1 exam, the aspirants have to open the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. All the aspirants are advised to check the eligibility criteria in a detailed manner before they apply for the exam. To fill the APPSC Group 1 Application form, the aspirants should have an OTPR ID. If you do not have any OTPR ID, then you should follow the below-mentioned instructions in order to get your OTPR IDs.

  • Open the official website of APPSC.
  • Now, click the ‘Modify OTPR ID” and then click the ‘New Registration’ option.
  • Once you click the registration option, a window will be opened and you have to fill the required details and information to complete your registration process.
  • In the next step, the aspirants should upload the scanned image of passport size photograph and signature.
  • If you upload the images, you will need to tick the checkbox to accept the provided declaration.
  • Before you submit the application form, you are requested to preview and check the details once.
  • Now, submit the OTPR Form.
  • Lastly, the aspirants will be sent the OTPR ID via the registered email id. Apart from this, the candidates will also receive the OTPR ID to their registered mobile number.

On the other hand, the aspirants, who already have OTPR ID, should follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Using the registered mobile number and OTPR ID, the aspirants have to log in the official website for filling the APPSC Group 1 2022 Application form.
  • Once you log in the page, you have to click and open the direct recruitment link.
  • Now click the APPSC Group Notification link.
  • In the next step, the aspirants have to complete the payment process.
  • You are requested to check the application form before you submit it.
  • Do not forget to take a print out of the APPSC Group 1 Application form for your future reference.
