Which college name I have to fill in gate application as I have done my MCA (Master's Degree) in distance education mode?

First of all, what is Distance Education? It is the study in which student will not physically present in the classes i.e. He or she can study without attending the college and at the time of examination you need to write in specified Centre which college will allocate there you have to write Exam manually and the results of the written exam will be posted in the website of your selected institute and Contact information of your Education shall be contacted to your selected institute or universities.  

There are so many Institutes which are providing distance education Like Indra Gandhi National Open University, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra University and some other State Universities and Institutes will also provide this distance Education and also some of the Government universities and institutes will provide Distance Educations courses.

If you have done Bachelor’s degree in Distance Education then you are eligible to write Gate Examination and if you completed master's in Distance Education then also you are eligible to write gate examination.

In gate application you can write your studied college I mean that you will get a degree certificate from any recognized university and only recognized university will provide distance Education so in that you can write the college name as mentioned in your degree certificate so open your degree certificate and see on the top of the certificate there the name of the college will be mentioned so write that name in the gate application form.

The main thing here is your degree certificate i.e., in which college you have completed your degree in distance Education that name in the certificate should be mention in the Gate application.

So, you can apply for Gate Examination and you can write college name as per your certificate and if you done MCA in distance education mode then there you will get certificates from the institute which are providing distance education in that certificate you can the name of the institute that institute name should be fill in the Gate application.
