Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
To qualify as a Medical/ Scientific officer-D, candidate must have an MD/DNB/MS/MDS degree for this post of Medical/Scientific Officer-D as per which they are applying for.
To qualify as Medical/Scientific officer-C, candidate must have an MBBS with one year institutional experience, and internships will not be counted as experience.
To qualify as a Technical officer-C, candidate must have MSC, B.E / B.Tech with more than or equal to 60 percent marks from a recognized institution.
To qualify for Quality Assurance and Quality Control, candidate must have successfully completed B.E or B.Tech or BSc in Engineering and also M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering with at least 60 percent aggregate marks in qualifying degree.
If you interested in Fast Reactor Technology (code-31) then you must have a BE or B.Tech or BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with at least 60 percent aggregate in the qualify degree.
The candidates who apply for Fast Reactor Technology (code-30) BE or B.Tech or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with at least 60 percent aggregate in the qualify degree.
Age Limit
For Medical or scientific officer-D:

Exam Pattern
BARC Exam will follow a similar examination pattern as per GATE 2021 Examination.
Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted in online .
Type of Examination: Objective type questions or Multiple Choice Questions.
Total Questions: 100 Questions.
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours.
Marks for each correct answer: 3 Marks.
Negative marking: 1 mark will be removed for every wrong answer.
Note: Physical calculators are not allowable for this examination, and how ever they provide virtual calculators in the computer its self.
