This will be conducted at National level, every year & It is online based examination and conducted by various IIT's Every Year and in 2024 IIT Kharagpur is conducting GATE Examination.
The candidates who are applying can get admissions into different courses as: ME or M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.Sc., M.A, M.C.A & Pharm.D. and other examinations, will be conducted through this examination

Before, in GATE there are only 27 Subject papers but, now there are 29 Subject papers.

GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should belongs to Indian and he or she should have Identity proof like Aadhar card, Pan card, or others as given by Indian Government.
Candidate must and should qualify BE or B.Tech, B.Pharma & Pharm.D or Any Equivalent degree from a recognized Institute.
GATE 2024 Marks Criteria
Candidate who are applying should secure a minimum of 50 percent for general category and for reserved and other backward category 45 percent marks for qualifying the examination.

Candidates who are completed degree or Pursuing final year can apply for this GATE 2024 Examination.
GATE 2024 Exam Pattern
Mode of Examination is Online Computer Based Examination
Paper comprises of Multiple choice questions and Multiple Selective Questions.
Total 65 questions will be asked in that (10[GA) + 55[Subject related]).
1 and 2 mark will be asked based on the type of question.
Time duration for each question will depend on type of question, i.e. 180 minutes
