Step: 1 [ Visiting official website of Income tax ]
First of all you have to visit official website of Income Tax e portal.

Step: 2 [ Selecting services for linking PAN card ]
After visiting the official website you need to click on " Our Services" option.
Then you can see some services there you need to select " Link Aadhar with PAN " Option.

Step: 3 [ Linking Aadhaar with PAN ]
Now after clicking on the option you will be redirected to a new page.
Here you can see a title as " Link Aadhaar ".
In that page you can see some text boxes where you need to enter your personal particulars like:
- PAN Number
- Aadhaar Number
- Name as per Aadhaar
- Mobile Number
Now after entering the above details you will be asked to confirm two check boxes i.e.
- I have only year of birth in Aadhaar card
- I agree to validate my Aadhaar details
Carefully read that information and confirm it
Now after confirming the check boxes you need to click on " Link Aadhaar ".
Step: 4 [ OTP Validation ]
After clicking in link Aadhaar button, you can see a new page where you need to enter the one time password which will be sent to your Aadhaar registered mobile number.
Enter one time password and verify it successfully before it expires.
Now after entering the one time password you need to click on validate button.
Step: 5 [ Acknowledgement Message ]
After successful validation of one time password you can see a message displayed on the screen.
Message: Your Aadhaar, PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for validation. Please check the status later by clicking on " Link Aadhaar Status " link on homepage.
So now you have to wait some time nearly 1 or 2 days to link Aadhaar Card to PAN Card, up to then you can check the status from the same website and same option.
