Full form of AP ECET ( Andhra Pradesh Engineering common entrance test)

This competitive exam will be organize by JNTU Kakinada

By this exam students can get admission or seat in 2nd year of BE or B.Tech and also for B.Pharmcy courses.

who should write this exam that is, conducted for the students who completes or completed diploma or polytechnic, or BSC in mathematics and pharmacy.

This exam is a state level exam conducted JNTUA under State government body (APSCHE).

Eligibility criteria

Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible for this examination.

Qualification for the exam: Students qualify diploma or polytechnic in Engineering from a recognized university.

For the candidates who are from BSC (Mathematics) they should compulsory they should qualify in mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Percentage: Candidates should secure minimum 45 percent marks and for reserved category candidates the minimum percentage are 40 percent.

The candidates who are qualified in the previous year exams are also eligible to write this year examination.

Application Fees

This can be paid through online mode, when ever the notification releases then payment portal will be available there we can pay the fees.

We can pay the payment by using Debit card, Credit card, Internet banking.

Fee amount for OC category - ₹ 6000

Fee amount for BC category -  ₹ 550

Fee amount for SC/ST category - ₹ 500

Specifications for Photograph and Signature

Signature: 

• It should be captured with white background and 
• Format should be (JPG/JPEG) and
• File size should be  < 30 kb

Photograph:

• It should be in good quality
• Format of the photograph should be (JPG/JPEG)
• File size should be < 50 kb

Application dates

Pattern of the Examination

Exam conducted mode: Online computer based.

No. of questions: 200 questions.

Types of questions: Multiple choice questions or Objective questions.

Final total marks: 200 marks.

Duration of exam: three hours or 3hr

Marks given for different streams:

For Engineering stream

• For mathematics = 50 marks
• For Physics = 25 marks
• For Chemistry = 25 marks
• For Engineering subjects = 100maks
• Total marks awarded are =200 marks

For Pharmacy stream

• For Pharmaceutics = 50 marks
• For Pharmaceutical chemistry = 50 marks
• For Pharmacognosy = 50 marks
• For Pharmacology = 50 marks
• Total marks awarded are = 200 marks

For BSC Mathematics stream

• For Mathematics = 100 marks
• For Analytical = 50 marks
• For English = 50 marks
• Total marks awarded are = 200 marks
