Steps to Submit Blogger Sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools
Step-1: Login to Bing Webmaster Account
First of all login to your Bing webmaster tool account dashboard by using your login credentials.
Step-2: Creating Sitemap for your website
If you have already create sitemap for your google search console then you can use it here.
If you have not created any sitemap then you need to create it by visiting any one website or copy the below sitemap code and replace website URL in the below sitemap
Step-3: Sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools
You need to open Bing webmaster tools account dashboard and in the dashboard you can see few options at the left hand side like:
- Home
- Search Performances
- Sitemaps
- URL Submission
- SEO
- Configuration
- Tools and Enhancements
- Security and Privacy
- User Management
- URL Inspection
Here you need to click on Sitemaps.
Step-4: Adding Sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools
After clicking on sitemaps, you will see a new webpage, here you need to click on Submit Sitemap button.
Now a popup opens and ask you to enter sitemap.
Now copy the generated or created sitemap and paste it in the textbox and then click on Submit button.
After submitting it will show a green color success message on the screen.
After submitting the sitemap it takes nearly 4 to 6 hours to show success message in status, up to the it show processing.
Note
If you get any errors while doing the process then sign-out and sign-in to your Bing webmaster tools account again.
If your submitted site shows status as Processing only from or 2 days then delete that sitemap and submit a new site by following the same process as provided above.
After submitting the sitemap it will show status as processing only and after 3 to 4 hours it will change to success.
After submitting the sitemap, you should get success message, if success message not shows and any waring comes then you need to re-submit your sitemap correctly.
